Good article, indeed. This completely confirms my distaste for the 3-day, balls-out, multi-stage 'destination' music fest. I am a believer in the small club show or odd basement performance.
But then again, I'm just a curmudgeonly fellow who thrives on claustrophobia + ringing ears!
I too think that Coachella has seen its best days come and go. This should be a two day fest and should focus on the music- not just selling tickets. I have gone in the past and may go again, but not this year.
Agreed. Sad.
